Sadly two things came up. One being work and the other tearing my ligament on my knee.  I would have loved to have gone but there's hopefully next year.  Still glad I was missed even if it's only for being the fool ;D
dont know what you mean :D
shame you couldnt make it john. get well soon mate. :y
Always good to see you Jcb, and Mrs G was asking, think she was hoping to see Mrs Jcb at Newent as well.

All the best with the knee or knees? TB fell over at Newent as well, too early in the evening to be pessed I think.
That was my knee giving out.  Somebody did tell me what might be wrong with my knee, but can't remember what/who.  I do remember them saying if is swells badly in next couple of weeks, I need to register with a quack  :'(
Should register when you move in really....wet bikes?
Of course I haven't registered, only been here 9yrs.

Quacks are a bunch of gay poofters anyway, I ain't letting them fondle my balls.
Get yourself down there, silly bugger.  ;D

I suggest you get down there sooner rather than later.  Scar tissue can be avoided with physiotherapy now or surgery later

I guess I need to avoid aggrevating it - trouble is, as it doesn't hurt until I kneel on it, I keep forgetting about it, kneeling on it, squealing like a girl...

...any tips to prevent kneeling on it....

I use a support bandage and try to keep the weight off it.

It tells you itself when you have kneeled on it!  ;D

TB that's what was originally diagnosed at the walk in centre - then a visit to the quacks told a different story, it's exceptionally painfull and requires rest and no weight to be placed upon it, I'm on crutches at the moment and I would advise you visit your gp. You do not know what long term damage you are doing by avoiding the inevitable.  All the best and drinks copious amounts of whisky accompanied by mind altering medication, well helps me sleep ::)

I hate to say this but... JCB is talking sense :o :o

I suffer knee problems as a result of some old sports injuries and it's not fun :'( :'(

Visit the quack/hospital walk in centre and get it checked. I already suffer arthritis in my knees at 33 but luckily it's only a real problem when cold and wet ::) ::)

Same here.Don't get dispondent though I had suffered from bad Knees since my early teens, My dad had arthritis and rhumatism so I thought it's just the way it is genetically. My knees got really bad in my late thirtys and early forties, however I'm now the wrong side of fifty and the Knee problems have dissappeared with no treatment, surgery, drugs or change in life style. I don't know why but long may it continue

I will have an old knee joint and some cruciate ligaments going spare at some point TB. Doc says they are breaked (what do they know) but you might be able to make one good one from two knacked ones. :y :D ;D
