Did AA manage it?

Told me he was gonna drive back at 45mph in the middle lane of the motorway.......to see if he could get 40mpg outa his 2.2.......

So question is did he manage it??  :-/

Still smarting over not getting the cleanest engine bay award.[next time maybe,mate] ;)

Decided in the end, as it was down hill, not to bother ;)

Got back in just over 3hours. :y

We never checked the tailpipe.....AA's is very clean....looked polished to me.....but he told me he only wipes it over......this could have been the winning decider for AA  :y

Tho AA's interior maybe a bit grubby now ive been in it with Holly  :-[

Chopsdad got the award,only just mind.it all came down to the chassis rails.they were clean on chops but a disgrace on AA,s.Diertyest award was....................................................marks dtm. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Only coz I don't know how to open my bonnet, so it couldn't be inspected....

Only coz I don't know how to open my bonnet, so it couldn't be inspected....

And you never checked mine either......coz if that didnt win for the dirtest engine bay.....i would have gone and got my VeccyC......now theres dirty and dirty.....and that is DIRTY.....even im embarrased to open the bonnet when im the only one checking the oil/etc just in case someone walks pass  :o

That's a bit harsh Gary.  AA's car is 18m older than mine, so mine should look cleaner - on that note I hand the baton back to AA who should be applauded for his diligence and attention to detail  [smiley=bath.gif]

No, no, no, Chopsdad deserves it, his chassis rails were much cleaner than mine.......there's always next year ;)
