Well after seeing all the shiney paintwork at the lakes i got a bit of a guilt complex and came home from work today and started waxing the meega in earnest but only got half way due to the muggy weather, i think i have lost half a stone.....yes yes i know i need too :-/ Anyway i will continue tomorrow untill it shines like it should and then onto the engine bay. So the next time we all meet up have your shades at the ready ;D Seriously though everyones cars looked amazing............even tunnies in a funny kind of way  :y

I believe Tunnie was considering waxing his Senny however when he did a risk assesment he considered the chances of contracting tetanus off a cut caused by rust to high  :oso he didn't bother :) ( only kidding Tunnie :y) I bet it gets you round europe on your planned tour.

       Spray alloy cleaner on wheels.
          Wet car off with hose. (ok so far?)
             Fill bucket with water & 1 capfull of carwash (NOT FAIRY LIQUID)!!!
               Sponge ALL of car, wheels, inside arches,glass etc., rinse then shammy off. NEVER leave water on your Mig. Once shammied (is there such a word?) Drink tea, beer or a wee dram Bruccie, then polish one panel at a time using one cloth for putting on & one for taking off.
          Using different cloths & appropiate cleaners do all your black trims.
                  Next, new on & off cloths again & appropiate cleaner do all glass in & out.
             Nearly done now, just clean all shuts including boot & engine bay.
                  Hoover inside removing & cleaning mats, if leather treat it, & clean dash, plastics etc but not with cockpit shine as it leaves dash shiny not clean which will only attract more dust.
         Lastly dress tyres pour another drink, sit back & admire your Mig for a whole minute until our feathered friends see the peachiest Mig they can find & proceed to empty thier last meal all over it from a great height usually between two panels so it gets in everywhere.
          Here endeth todays valeting rant.
               P.S Do'nt try to polish in hot sun. You've got as much chance as shoving half a pound of butter up a hedgehogs arse with a hot needle! ::)

Agree wholey with the bird bit when your polishing your motor you can see the little b*stards sitting on the tv arial conspiring to do a full foremation dump on your pride and joy just when you've finished polishing it >:(
