Should be interesting to see what the tax is going to be for our 4x4 next year then.
For some strange reason, every computer going (eg, car parts, insurance, etc) keeps seeing it as a 2006 model - while the Isuzu paperwork and the original export certificate say it's a 1996 model (which it is).

It was probably imported in 2006. I get this with the MX5s, they could be built and registered in 89/90 but show up as they year they were imported

Because that's when they were registered... I'm afraid it'll fall in the bracket for super tax but I'm not sure how they'll band it as there are no official emmision figures that I am aware of :-/ :-/

its funny, my 2.2 CD is £190 to tax a year, father tunnies which has the same engine but is a year younger will be £445 

And before people say its to help the environment, is it bull. My Bike is £64 a year to tax, which puts out 100 times less pollution than a 1.4 DCi Megan which is £34 a year to tax

Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006.
