Welcome OMG, where abouts are you? Perhaps add it to your profile.

Does it move at all if you try? Does it go into gear? Clutches are fairly easy on the 4pot, although the DMF's aren't cheap, maybe better finding one at a breakers. :y

99% it's the Dual Mass Flywheel! Try and find a breaker for a replacement.

Can you not get a conventional replacement flywheel as you can for some Ford's ?

Try a company called Road Runners in Saltney, Chester. I picked one up for another member on here a while ago and they were quite cheap :y

roadrunners are not unreasonable price wise for works either.

fixed a broken timing chain issue on a vectra for the father in law lately, was impressed with them.

one of the blokes there used to work at the performance vauxhall place round the corner as well.

Sad news OMG I suppose it depends on what you car's worth to you and what you have to spend to get it back on the road against the cost of a replacement vehicle.

If you do replace the Omega you will be left with an immobile vehicle unless you can part exchange for your new car or break it for parts.

I would keep checking the breakers for the time being - you might take a different view.
