Well what a day, called the vauxhall breaker in the midlands and told them to stick it where the sun don't shine and did the A1 find a part thing and come up trumps, i now have a 03 DTI engine on it's way to me and should be with me on Monday morning best bit is itcomes with a 3 month and unlimited miles warranty but has cost me £870.

A lot of money for an engine!  :-/

But so hard to find so when one does come up you've really got no choice but to pay what they want, i did knock them down on the price cos it was £1000 but it does come with the diesel pump so i can sell the one from my old engine which should get about £300 on ebay

The Y22DTR engine is found in all FWD vauxhall's and it wont work in the omega because of the balancer apparantley :-?
