Car insurance time
« on: 22 September 2009, 10:34:56 »

While having mu annual phone around for car insurance, currently have a Multi-car policy with Admiral, I phoned Direct Line.
Asked the usual questions, (Guy's House Invasion seems to be costing me dear - they don't like 6 points  :() and was asked about modifications. If I was to fit a set of facelift alloys to my car  ...... which I obviously haven't  ::)  ::)  ::) .... it would load my premium by £150  :o  :o  :o

Try MoreThan insurance. I got a great deal for two cars from them this year, on separate policies.
I use one for day to day use and the Omega for occasional use. So I had limited mileige on both, which brings the price down a bit.

Omega was £620 on it's own ..... we both didn't think it was worth continuing  for the 2nd & 3rd car  ;D  ;D  ;D

I got here .... http://www.cglloyds.co.uk/index.html ...from somewhere  :-/ and was quoted £720 for the 3 on a 'Family Policy' which I thought was a result.  :y  :y  :y

I'm sure many of you will have seen this but if you do follow all the steps most people will save.

He says right at the end, that he brought the premium down even further by opting NOT to have a courtesy car. I haven't found a company yet who will discount for giving up their 'free' courtsy car. All these 'free' add ons all have a cost to someone which generally means that me & thee are paying for it some where along the line.  :-/  :-/  :-/

I've been using http://www.quotelinedirect.co.uk/ for a few years now, nobody else seems to be able to match them for me.
It's the dodgy BL postcode that does it Andy. ;D
