smooth peanut butter

saw a tip on car show said  use smooth peanut butter on your bumbers and trims they come up like new , tried it works a treat as good as new ,something to do with the oil in peanuts , just wipe on a section at a time and wipe off
  great  :y :y :y

any more tips out there  :y

The smooth stuff is OK but the crunchy stuff plays havoc with the rusty bullet hole in the morning ::)

Yeah , forget about Peanut butter 'cause it doesn't last .
Boiled Linseed Oil , been using it on a couple of our vehicles and it does work. Over here it's rained for three months now and the finish on both of them ,a Transit and a Freelander is as new . Normally any treatment breaks down after a week or two but the BLO shows no sign of deterioration after 12 - 14 weeks. :y

Autogylm bumper restorer is pretty good too..looks like green slime when you put it on but does bring plastic up well...agree though it doesn,t last that long.

I usually toast 2 slices, cheese under the gril on 1, peanut butter on t'other and put 'em together :y Yummy yummy. ;)

No, the boiled stuff is just more refined, looks like veg oil, wonderful stuff, use on cricket bats, old wooden tools, and plastic trim.
