New Company Car
« on: 26 September 2009, 23:34:52 »

I’ve just found out what my new company car will be to replace the 1.4TDCI Fiestas that we currently have.

It’s going to be a Renault Megane Coupe 1.5 Diesel with a Whopping 86 BHP !!!!!!!! :'( :( :o

I must get a new calendar to time the 0-60!!!  ;)

I try to block out mon-sat and remember I have the mig for Sundays and evenings! The Fiesta does need to go as it's on it's last legs, 56 plate with 138,000 on it now, all driven by me, very very slowly!!!!! Unless i'm going downhill with a tail wind!  :y

What do you do to do those miles? most reps etc have bigger cars for such a mileage in such a short time.... :)

I work for an online estate agents going round taking pictures, virtual tours and floor plans of houses and doing the EPC for the hips pack. There's two of us that cover what they call the "south east".

It covers from the Norfolk coast to the Kent coast as far west as DORSET ! :o and that also inclueds all of London! The trip computer on the car recons that over the 138,000 miles my average speed has bee 27mph!

I just hope the Renault is more comfatable than the fiesta, but i'm not holding my breath!

The Renault might be a tad quicker in a straight line but i think you may find the handling & gearbox somewhat uninvolving after the Fez. ::)
