I found the rubber one is too far back and you have to have the armrest up for that plus as you said theres only one there. As for the handbrake I've got auto drivers disease and have fogotten what it's for!!!
:-? I have two on my '00 CD.

I don't 'walk' through, so would never dream of driving through. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes!  ::)  ;D  ;D  ;D

Yea I can do a how to if you're intrested, but for now the cup holder is a mk4 golf or bora REAR cup holder like this one
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/volkswagen-mk4-gti-r32-bora-rear-cup-holder_W0QQitemZ20038...

I paid about £15 for it on eBay.

Top man! I will look out for the 'Howto'  :y :y :y

Bit extreme, could try burgle king instead, my personal favourite. They dont do breakfast though. :-( ;D ;D

I'm sure my interior was covered in what looked like coke when i got it, and wondered how anyone managed to make such a mess.

Couple of weeks later drove through a drive through, put the coke in the cup holder ate me burger lobbed the rubbish in the bin and drove off. Couple of corners down the road realised the arm rest was still up and pushed it down with me elbow and "burst" the cup of coke all over the car. Ah, that's how, i thought. ;D

As said, the standard cup holder is too far back and when driving is totally out of sight not to mention awkward to reach. Completely forgot the coke was there.
