Looks excellent for a 1993 motor. :y
Isn't the description a bit optimistic regarding the performance though.......faster than a Ford Cossie and 160+ mph. :-/

Spot on that with low mileage too. As Bob said optimistic advertising but none the less that looks a cracking motor.
I'd be proud to drive round in it. It's a peach, good on ya! :y

The auto is not as bad as you think. Beats my Omega on fuel consumption. Which makes me think why didn't they use the Senator engine in the Omega?? :-?

couldnt agree more. my 24v senator did 25 mpg and I used to drive it hard. My 2.5 mig does 24mpg and that is driving with a very light right foot.
I have a much longer commute these days and need something economical soon. Diesel or LPG.

..... and me! I used to get 23/24 mpgin the Senator, the omega tends to be more like 20/21mpg
I know it's not a great deal different, but I'd have expected the replacement car to be better .... not worse.
Doh! Forgot! :-? They didn't replace the Senator :( - it was dropped, the Omega was a replacement for the Carlton.  :'(

Yep,I was astounded when my 2.5 mig proved to be less economical than my 24v Senator.
Still thats progress I suppose.  ::)
