gave same patten as standard bulbs but brighter

I presume the indicators and reverse lights are standard bulbs though - kinda defeats the object, I think.

ugh! dont mention the C word!

i prefer standard look but led glow
brake lights would notice the most, ive heard the indicators flash too quickly with some leds so be careful

Only if they don't have the ballast resistor built in, but that's easily fixed.

Pretty sure I've seen LED replacement bulbs on ebay that don't interfere with the check system.
Bit more expensive though.

Of course, I could be typing shite...............

I have some 21w LED repalcements for brake and reverse - tried them in my Carlton (check system thrown in bin) but they don't work.
For some reason, they were OK in my old Calibra, but seems the polarity is wrong in the Carlton - might it be the same in an Omega? :-/
