As you may know I decided to break "Vader" a month or so ago as I didn't want anyone else to have it. But I got let down twice.
So decided that Vader obviously didn't want to go anywhere :-[

I then got it in my head to do a few upgrades engine wise which have now been completed ;)
Yes it goes far better than I expected (but no chance will it beat Martin Imbers' Turbo charged Omega or Suzuki B120 ;D :D)
Just have the suspension to sort out which is Bilsteins all around which I got from here
http://www.balancemotorsport.co.uk/ who were very helpful and would recommend them to anyone, plus Irmscher Springs to fit which I got from Rob & Marti, so a big thank you too you both x x :y :y :y

Fingers crossed all but the Paintwork done for the weekend at the Surrey Meet :y

Go Vader!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

 :P :P :P :P

Never had one. Had a GSX600F, a couple of GS250T and a tuned GP100.

Turbocharged - no just 3.0 cams which you sold me

Mind you, good job you had fixed it as you weren't gonna bring that essex girl car onto the Officer's patch...were you?  ::)

Could always fill it full of rubbish, that is its other use ::) ::)

Those kisses will have to wait now I'm afraid :( ;)

But the suspension is all now fitted and Vader feels like a totally different car :y
I enjoyed sitting in with The Master whilst he put it through its paces (on a race track of course..)
Paintwork will be getting done now after the winter :y

So still a Happy Bunny :-* :-* :-*

what sort of suspension is on the omega's, can you just remove the springs and fit lowering ones in there place or do you have to change the lot,
also when you press the sport button does it do anything to the suspension, ie harden it up or anything else, or does it just alter the gearbox setting, im asking because if i cant sell my omega then i might doe something with the ride as it feels like a boat and doesnt like been chucked into corners to fast
cheers

I have Eibach springs and they made a big difference.

BTW if you use a lot of bumpy roads go for HD rubber bushes rather than poly bushes on the wishbones

Poor little thing could hardly move last time I saw it.Tyres rubbing the arches etc, beats me why someone has to carry hundreds of cans of fizzy pop around the country in their car.If they start rolling around they could get under the pedals and allsorts.Strange people those Stokies. ::) :D ;D
