We love camping.Everything fits in the miggy, even the kitchen sink.We camped 70 days in 2009.Next year we want to get a towbar and trailer,so we can take the entire contents of the house with us. ;D

Is that a tent or a London Underground train?

We have a kichen sink, grill hob, toilet and shower ;D ;D ;D ;D
I suspect I am more comfortable at night, certainly less crowded, and better equipped.  And don't have to empty out the aftermath of one of Dundees/AmigoV6's currys ;)

Yes you can pack half your life into a Mig but it's OOF's fault i bought a cara pikey tin snail. At my first & second meet i decided tenting is too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter & a long drawn out process to put up/pull down. With a caravan you can keep the bulk of needed "stuff" in all year round & have plenty of time to add the last few bits & "boobs" before departure ie tinned food, clean bedding, crockery/cutlery, telly, radio/cd, heater fridge shower, fan for the summer, 3 point pins for your lappy etc, toaster, kettle, pots/pans, microwave & god knows what else. You can stop en route for a proper brew & when you get where you're going & it's peeing down you don't have to sit in a steamed up car waiting for an hour or two's work when & if the weather clears. Same goes when you leave.
I love my little van, cost me £200 & sits nicely on the front so no storage fees, & of course we all drive one of the best towing cars! :y

Caravans....
Living and working in a tourist area, they have always annoyed the hell out of me pootling about at 35mph stopping me getting to appointments and being oh-so-flashing-righteous when I have to overtake on a short straight and cut in because even though they are in no rush and could pull over to be courteous after fifteen miles, they don't  >:( >:( >:(  EVERY DAY  >:( >:( >:(

Now got a baby, no money and a **tow-bar** so may become the world's biggest hypocrite sometime soon  ;D ;D

But I WILL pull over  :y

i like the sound of rain on canvas...(or other man made material). And i can get beer and pizza from the bouncy castle...and they have showers and even a bath in the castle...And the miggy can go full speed fully laden up the m74...Full speed.
A "tintent" would need to have some extra advantage for me.
How do you park that tin thing in a supermarket? and how much to insure it?...
i love my tent.
