« on: 26 November 2009, 13:51:58 »

is it normal to wait for an autobahnstormers account to be activated after initially registering with them. my aim is to obtain a trade card. as yet the only thing iv,e got is an email to verify a username & password. timewise 24hrs have passed, is this anorm situ?  :-? :)

Alf used to get the cards out within a week ... AFAIK the Dealers need to see the actual card before they give the discounts .. you could try with a printed e-mail but ..........  :)

you printed off a page, filled it in and posted it off with your money.

cant see you getting a card if you havent paid yet...

mine took about 14 days to come through after i paid the £20 by postal order. the membership sec was getting married [smiley=laugh.gif] when i joined think thats why it took a while to get to me.
you can set up a standing order as well so it comes off every year.

I think I'm right that its just one TC account number for all ABS TC members.

You will get a yellow card in the post

after paying your 20 quid of course.
fill in the app form with dd details, your card will arrive before your 1st payment goes.
my bank did a boo-boo though & set it up to pat abs monthly. :o soon sorted that out, think alf thought it was his lucky day ;D

No, you have to send cheque and form to them, they send out a 'pack'.

The forum membership is unrelated to this process (and they will reject access until they have received monies)

http://www.autobahnstormers.org/

then club info, then How to Join  (not sure if thats up to date - email Alf)
