....i've re fitted one on the drivers side.....rather things.
I got fed up of the back end moving around and the old c****** bushes sitting in the top of my tool box staring at me waiting for me to do something with them.
I've had 10mill machined off the top of the centre spacer and fitted 3 large washers to take up the missing 10mill at the bottom so they now sit at the same hight on the centre spacer as omega ones.
If it stays put and does not squidge out like they did before i'll fit the pass side as well.
If it does squidge i'll re fit the omega one making sure the solid areas are nearest the side of the car with void holes giving movement for and aft....and throw the carlton ones directly and very firmly in the bin.
I forgot to look how it was positioned before i removed it as i was rushing to get it done in the 2 hours daylight available, just managed it. Why do we change the clocks again?

Looking at the cut outs on the back and wiggling the centre about with a bar i'm sure the orientation is important. Void holes front and back i reckon, with the single square on cut out towards the front of the car. Solid areas of the bush then gives stiffer sideways movement when positioned so. Cut outs, the bit they leave raised to lever them out with, are visually the same on both models, when viewing from the back.
Quick test drive and it has tightened up the back nicely on that side as we know it would, fraction noisier, a tad rumblier( only a bit), drivers side no longer tram lines like the pass side does on the rear at the moment.
Please God it is still fully home when i get home tomorrow.
Does anyone know how much agro it is to replace one of the captive nuts? Just in case. I've given them some real grief with all the changes and agro i've had with these. To the point that i now need a new triangular plate as the bolt head has bent and almost worn through. Yeah, nightmare!
