Parking sensors ?

Thinking of getting some for the rear of the car,had a look on feebay and there,s hundreds of them, from 62p (hong kong) upwards.Does anyone have any experience/reccomandations ? dont want to spend a fortune but want something which works reasonably well.

I think mine came from here but can't be sure!  :-/ :-/ :-/

The colour match was superb and all the kits are basically the same :y :y

cant get genuine from a breaker? plug and play presumably?

Earlier cars don't have the OE wiring that the later cars have.

Anyway, what's wrong with the factory fit mirrors?  ;)  ;)  ;D

Does anyone know if these parking sensors can be blown over with a couple of dust coats of basecoat and then a couple of coats of lacquer?  Does it render them useless?  :-/

They can be painted

I have them on the front of my car as well as the rear, when I test drove my car the front looked so difficult I had them fitted, hardly used them once i got used to the car...... ::) ::)

Rented one of those in Spain last year.  Must say, It was surprisingly nice to drive  :-X

Rented one of those in Spain last year.  Must say, It was surprisingly nice to drive  :-X
not driven one as i cant get near without vomiting, but i guess they are fairly nippy going by the number of blue rinses wanging round in them.

Its the appearane, inside and out, awful,  sorry Mike, just is. :-/ ;)

They arent for the Omega (I no longer drive one)Its for the little Merc.I think the higher spec models had them but they may be built into the rear bumper.
Did think about a rear facing camera,dont know how much they cost or how much is involved in fitting. :-/

Camera's are easy get a wireless one and you can even pick up T.V, just connect to reversing light bulb etc etc took me about 5 mins to do on my trafic before  :y
