2.5V6 Battery Amp
« on: 08 January 2010, 13:13:05 »

I just came back from VX with a 65Ah battery and for some reason I get the feeling it not the right one. The guy assured me this was the correct one. Searched here and found one post which said it is 70Ah.

By the way I went by bus and half mile walk on ice holding a battery isnt easy !

That is the correct retail price.

that chart is retail, trade, tradeclub, all plus vat.

IF you join a club that gives you a tradeclub card, or blag one, it would have paid for itself on that item!

I was told by my vaux parts guy that the amps have changed with new batteries. My 2.2 had a 66Amp on it from new, now replaced with a 65Amp. 3.2 has original GM 85Amp.

A few more question:

How does one reset the windows? After I change the battery start car and open both windows fully and close and hold button down when closed for a few seconds?

I have an aftermarket CD player. Would that still work after the change?

re the windows, yes its just having the button pressed in the closed position for a couple secs that does it.

As regards the after market CD player, provided you haven't put the battery in back to front, yes it should work.
