Got no heat in my wifes Corsa. coolant gets to temp and fan kicks in so no circulation problem there. one pipe going to heater matrix hot but the other one coming out just warm.... any ideas people?

Matrix is clogged up, flush it backwards and forwards half a dozen times and try again :y

I.e. year, engine etc

Its a 2001 1.2 Corsa.... Initally there was a coolant leak which emptied the expansion bottle so I assumed there may be an air lock in the matrix but its been a month now and heaters still blowing cold....

Have you actualy burped the system e.g....start from cold with the expansion cap off and run until its hot and the stat opens?

Whilst it warms up....give the pipes a good squeeze occasionaly to

If its the type where the battery sits right up under windscreen in middle, I've seen pesky airlocks in the matrix before (on a 1.0l 3 cylinder variant though). Not sure if 1.2 is the same  :-/
