OK which other forums have you used or use regularly.

One I like and use quite a bit is www.avforums.com which as far as I know is the busiest UK forum anywhere.

It is the official forum of a large number of specialist magazines and has tens of thousands of users - I am in the top 200 for posts with well over 3000.

So please list your favourites and let us have a little about it.

I have used the mg-rover one, never really got much of a response.  My father-in-law asked about changing a 218D clutch there, and got a 'buy a workshop manual and some axle stands' reply :(  - I think he's considering buying a Vauxhall now, due to the extra help available :D

well i can understand that, not as a proper answer, but as an answer that would be given.

Its a bit hit and miss on there, sometimes you can get an excellent comprehensive answer, othertimes a thread can fade off the first page without a reply.....

Been a lot better in recent months, with all due respect to all on the rover forum, it doesnt have the same strength of knowledge and warmth of the guys on here and formerly VxON.

Now i take it that clutch on the rover is resolved ? ;)

Soul Source, full of info about my favourite music for 47 years. Not a member, full of winkers I'd be banned within a week according to Mike the site owner. ;D ;D ;D
I think  I have a reputation on the scene. :y :D :D ;D ;D
