Motorbikes

Right I have the faintest idea about motorbikes, so what is a mint V-reg Yamaha R1 worth?

Thanks  :y

Mileage, service history? Oh... And colour pays a bigger part with motorbikes than cars too :y :y

But I would guess it would retail (dealer facilities) at about £2500 ;)

Yum Yum ;D ;D ;D

Looks like a well cared for example. I'd say it should fetch close to £2500 as a private sale (with the extras), as long as the ad is well written and concise :y :y

Get someone who knows to tell you about the extras... e.g. Pit Stand, Crash Bungs etc :y :y :y

But they fetch good money ;) ;)

I'd love one, but would only really use it for an hour or so at a time due to the cramped riding position (most bikes are cramped for me at 6'4") ::) ::)

Have you sat on a cbr 125 they are like a push bike and Even for a small guy like me it felt to small, as for the r1 in pick yes please I would be happy to pay up to the 2500 mark for it with stand and as long as the other side is in as good a condition. Only thing I would take in to consideration is is it an import as only needed to change the head lights and plates to be a UK rep.
Looks like the seller has ridden it well and got it right over so the service history would be a big yes unlike the upright riders who`s banking is all of 2deg either way with the flat spot in middle of tyre.

At least with this there's no need to change the piston and rings every 8k miles!

If I were to get it you'd be totally welcome as I can't ride a bike, well I haven't got a licence anyway.
