Little off topic, but is there a difference between the Z & Y 32 thermostat??

Think mines a bit sticky (for bit sticky read stuck open and giving me shite fuel economy), most are listed as beng for either Y or Z 32, however there are rumblings the Z has 3 bolts not just the two as the pictures, haven't had the difinitive answer yet.

Or is there a 3rd hidden bolt??  :D

Stats on the V6 are the same from 94 upto 2003!

That airfilter will have been doing things no favours at all, it will have caused it to run rich at high revs.....

I am going to invest in a tool for fuel filters, as mine proved a right pig today. Anyone know where I can get one?

Machine Mart  :y

That's what I've got (although mine is Draper, but looks identical..).   It helps but the job is still tricky on the estate, esp if the filter hasn't been changed for a while.

So are you saying when the Z32 came into production it had a different stat?? Think production started late 2002, if not, any idea what engine numbers/ when in 2003 it changed? If indeed it isn't the same?
