Broken mirror
« on: 02 March 2010, 16:11:32 »

I would just like to say thank you to the kind person who ripped off my driver's mirror on my way home last night.  >:( :( :'(
It was dark so I couldn't see who they were, but if they'd kept to their own side of the white lines it wouldn't have happened. I'm sure they won't be reading this because an Omega driver wouldn't be so careless, but I sincerely hope they have done an equal amount of costly damage to their own car (and I'm being restrained and polite here).

Not really intended as that Andy. It's a veiled way of saying what I think of the person who caused the damage by driving carelessly and couldn't be bothered to stop.
I have already ordered a replacement mirror, but thanks for asking  :y.

Er yes  :-[ and they are. My local Vauxhall main dealer are brilliant and I've been using them for the last 30 years (bought my first car from them - a Mark 1 Cavalier) so I just sort of go there when I need anything. Their prices are normally not too bad, but I guess I should have asked on here first.

There are always cars being broken here. Admittedly facelift mirrors are less common, but they still crop up, obviously you'd just need it painted.
