Do cars look better with mudflaps or without?
« on: 07 March 2010, 16:13:32 »

Just been discussing the with the mrs., neither of us can decide, I personally think it depends on the car she says, they should have them and my son says most cars look better without but some look better with.

Your thoughts?

Got them on both of mine, they came with them fitted.
I think most cars look better with them on, although they don't really stop all of the crap from slashing up the bodywork.

Mudflaps are not there to look pretty - if you have ever followed anyone in wet weather without mudflaps you'll know what i mean...  >:(

imho they should be fitted by law, and high level stoplights .. :y

I fitted mudflaps to my MV6 'coz they have OMEGA on them & were given free. I think they look ok & mine at least do go some way to keeping the road dirt/grease/salt off the bodywork & inner arches. :y

Only after 1997

I have mudflaps on my 3.2 and the front ones scrape along the road when I corner around roundabouts and speed bumps :(

Depends on the cars' body shape as the miggy looks good with a set of flaps, ooer missus :D, but cars like the KA and Rover 200 hatchbacks look terrible.

I fitted mudflaps on my estate and they certainly reduce the amount of spray on the rear screen in the wet.
