Jeez!!!
does'nt mean that OLD means SLOW, some of the 25 odd cars I've had were real road rockets!! (Granada 2.9 4x4 ex-plod was brill)have mostly had big cars, as small ones don't have the ride and comfort I want, with all the "toys" and the ability to tow anything too. Yes, I'm 50 this year, but don't want to grow old with an escort 1.1 in the drive, or an austin allegro wearing a flat cap and tweed jacket on!!
Love the miggy, does EXACTLY what I want, carries everything comfortably, REASONABLY cheap to run and insure, and has every toy imaginable for a modest cost.
NO BRAINER.

What hope have I got? I'm cough years old and own a Mig and a 56 year old Morris Minor!!! ;D ;D ;D
I too drive a Mig & a 1961 Ford Consul. I know at nearly 47 i'm a grumpy old so & so but all "da local yoot" love both the cars so it's a tough one to call really. 8-)

Mentioning the local 'yoot' last time I took my saloon minor into work before I sold it one of the kids shouted "nice beetle" ;D ;D ;D
When i had a series 3 Landy i used to get most peeved at folk calling it a jeep. I still today hate folk calling thier discoverys etc Landies. I don't care what badge it wears it's NOT a Landy any more than a metro is a Mini. >:( ::)

Fully agree Guy, :y a Landrover is a Landrover the original shape, does the job it was designed for, after all the Mini is not a real Mini no matter how they try to market it.......... :D :D :D

I got my lovely TD elite when i was 20 and 26 days, im now 20 and 3/4, some of my friends make jokes about it but then suddenly they shut up when i mention the leather, heated seats, ECC etc, they also are quite happy to get in the passenger side and play with the fully adjustable electric seats with the heat on. Oh well its just jealously and i smile to myself

We should start a poll and try to get everybody involved, age groups could be in mostly mutiples of fives e.g. 18-25,25-30,30-35,35-40 etc and the number of males to females would also be interesting, i hardly every see any ladies driving them around :(
