Anyone notice a little glitch?
« on: 25 June 2007, 20:34:05 »

Or did I get away with it ::)

Just had a decent crack of thunder, goodbye gigabit switch  >:(

Forum server recabled to 100Mbit switch for now to get it up, but on wrong network segment really.

Expect further outages once I put it back how it should be - need to find out if its the switch or the PSU thats failed this time (was the PSU a few months ago when we had similar fault).

I didn't notice anything, thanks to your "lightning "quick reflexes you may have got away with it   :y

Thunder bolts and lightning, very, very frightning

Need to go round and reset some clocks - knocked the power out for a few secs....  (don't worry, the UPS kept all the computers/routers etc up - which makes it odd that one of the switches was affected  :-/)
