The 'M' in MV6

 Totally dumb question, but does the 'M' stand for motorsport or what in the MV6 title? (no laughing at the back either  ;D)

could stand for mega ,massive,marveless,mighty quick car,i know the last ones three words but does sound good ;D ;D ;D

I got asked that in a petrol station in Derby about two weeks after buying my last MV6 and couldn't tell the bloke. I asked around but no-one could tell me for definite but I assumed Motorsport.

Having said that, I always liked MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmV6!!

 ;D just one of them annoying things aint it, you think you know but dont tell anyone incase your wrong and look like a fool..... is the mv6 engine the same as the 3.0 v6 installed in the elite etc?

Yes. Same engine, slightly suspension set up, and "real" MV6's have a proper gearbox!  ;)

Im really hoping you mean that manuals are cool, cos my manual MV6 spot-on, just a real shame the the original owner did'nt invest in the limited slip diff when he purchased it new. Still 225 horses at the rear wheels is good, LSD or not.
