Hello, do you sell Polyflex?
« on: 22 March 2010, 17:37:39 »

Was my opening question to these people:

http://www.oxfordautogas.com/index.html

Response? - 'Errr i don't know'

Hopefully going to get started on LPG this week, was going to use them as they are on route to KevinW's

Anyone else know good LPG supplier in Oxon, Hampshire?

LD - Still waiting for call from Telio, just getting some backups just in case

He may even call tomorrow... If you haven't heard by about half 3 tomorrow give me a call at home (assuming you can't get him) and I'll chase him :y :y

cheers, btw, with the straight filler i have, would that be ok if it was mounted on the body work, rather than bumper? Just thinking of what jobs we can do before you get here to save time  :y

If you can get the tank fitted and all tightened up to the frame/floor and decide where you want things mounting, that will save us about half a day. You could also mark up for the filler and, once you're home, remove the bumper if you like. I would be a little concerned to cut a metal body panel with that type of cutter, regardless of what they say!

Fitting the tank is, ideally, a 2 man job and measuring is time consuming! Once it's fitted 2 people can do separate jobs and it makes it quite quick! We'll get it done, assuming we have everything and don't hit any snags.

<cheap shot warning>

Have you checked for space on Marks drive BEFORE you start this conversion ???

Do you have a "library tape" of odd noises for comparison purposes ??

Has the cam belt been checked ?

<end cheap shot>

Back on subject, have you thought about silkaflex?  Used a lot in the sailing world for it's durability although it needs some gentle heating up to make it more maliable during application.

Not thought about any sealants, do you mean to seal the holes for the filter and into the tank?
