That part number stuck into EPC comes up with ...

 TRANSMISSION, ASSY., WITH CONVERTER (IDENT BD) X25XE  -V1999999 96016628 7 01 393 1

so my guess would be ar25 as its for the 2.5 engine ..

but it is a guess .. EPC does NOT list ar25/ar35 anywhere that I could find .. :(

HTH ...

much stronger box .. ar35 also used on the diesels ... all to do with the torque they can handle I believe

ar25 = 250 Nm

ar35 = 350 Nm

but I could well be wrong .. seems to be becoming a habit ...  :(

It is a box on fleabay which looks like it could be picked up for next to nothing (nearly finished, no bids) and its quite close to me. If I knew it was an AR35 I would buy it, but it looks more likely to be a AR25 so I think I will leave it. ;)

I dont need one, but an AR35 for potentially 99p would be too good to pass up - I could sell it to you if you come and collect it. :y :D ;D ;D ;D
