TB's top tip for later facelift owners

After spending about 45mins looking at why tech2 wouldn't talk to alarm unit, and remote fobs wouldn't unlock car, TB's top tip for 2002/2003 saloon owners....


Don't do the boot mod ;D ;D ;D

or even a facelift ;).  Us prefacelift owners have proper boots....

More difficult to lock keys in it too. :y

Garage clear out in March 2011 and I will have a large amount of omega parts going very cheap.

To cut the smaller of the two red cables to the connector held behind the drivers kick panel.

Somewhere there are pictures on the OOF showing it! ;) ;)

The boot mod causes issues with courtesy light - it stays on for 10s after door is closed, whether ign is on or not.
