Gearbox code on police manual...

Having stripped and scrapped the 3.0 MV6 1996 cop car (green), i noticed the box has the same numbers on it, as the 2.0 litre gear box.
i am thinking perhaps this is why they go like stink!

they're all basically the same box - Getrag 240.
