quad exhaust,how difficult?

Has anyone ever made their own version of a quad exhaust.Thought about this,and just wondered if it was at all possible if i get a matching back box,and a few bends.Whats everyones thought on this? ;)

sorry, but can't see the point - 3 pots into 2 pipes or 3 pots into one pipe then back into 2 pipes.  May look pretty but not any help to power output.

I'm more used to having exhaust manifolds and pipework matched properly for power.

will be more meaningful with a V8 dropped in..

but other than that will be extra weight, no performance gain, instead I would spend that for a custom manifold..

Take it thats a dont bother then ;D,just seen an omega on youtube with a quad zorst,and it looked as good as it sounded. :y

The only thing I would advise, is that if you do it and post up pics, some will like, some won't, so be prepared to get shot down! ;)

Know what you mean mate,each to their own i suppose.Just seen an ashley quad kit on ebay you make up yourself,but cant see a backbox in the pic,so i take it you come off your standard one. :-/ :y

Probably do away with it altogether!
My exhaust went a while back, it was the two pipes into the rear box that had totally rusted away, so the rear box wasn't actually connected.
Didn't make that much difference noise-wise, but the economy is better now it's fixed.

No, 3-into-1 times 2  :y

I wouldn't have thought it would be so difficult, the only issues would be mounting the right-side (looking from the back) box, and 'adapting' the rear bumper to accomodate the tailpipes.

can you explain what you mean please?

do you mean a dual system with 4x exhaust tailpipes?
