Read with interest the diy LPG posts. Thanks for the info and how to guides Tunnie and Lazydocker.
I am really considering doing my 2 litre. I have read that the regulations may be tightened up in the future and insurance may be a problem, unless the work was done professionally or, it has been inspected and cerificated by one.
I would prefer to do it myself with a kit from Tinley Tech, would they do the inspection?
Sorry for going on a bit, its a lot of money and I dont want to mess it up.

The stag kits fro Teilo may be a better (and cheaper) option due to the knowledge on here...

Yep, Tinley Tech do inspections.

Personally I wouldn't buy my kit from them for 2 reasons

1. Price - the kit will probably cost you nearly twice as much as the Stag kit from Teilo

2. Support - Tinley's support is absolutely superb (there's no denying that) but they may not have as much knowledge about the kit/car combo as you'll find here

 How do you order Stag equipment please. I didnt think there would be such a difference in price. This forum has so much info on it, its all here and very generously shared in a good spirit. Amazing.
Had my Omega 5 months now, only bought it by accident really. It was the cheapest car I could get on the day. Done a few things thanks to the 'How to Guides' and love it. Petrol is killing me though. Watford has good availability of lpg, so seems the way to go.

hi,reading your thread about converting,bought mine a 2.2 2002,put it on the road only last week,filled it with gas 61 lts £38 quid ,its a great feeling to not get robbed every time you fill up,if its any help can email pics of what can be seen of the conversion on my car,the garage were i took it for mot said it was a very good conversion,i didnt get a cert with it tho so will have to get it serviced,and apparently they will give me a service sheet ect to say its in good form,will let you know how i get on with it,cheers.

I saw a Prins system on Fleabay the other day for £200!  Which if its in good working order would seem to be a bargain to me, as I believe that Prins are expensive systems.

Trouble is you'd have to take the sellers word that it was OK and be prepared to do alot of tinkering to get it going....

Prins systems are top of the range.. but costs a fortune.. and teleflex is accepted to be #2 here..

I have seen some installs , they choose only the car model and the setup parameters for ecu automatically loaded.. :-? and finished..

I think the car is worth a new system second hand could be problems and the Stag setup is well covered on this forum.
