Do we know the specifications of Vauxhall's fully skimmed 5w30 oil? I ask because of SWMBO's Smart that Mercedes specify Mobil 1 for. I aint paying £50 a gallon for a name, but the Smart 'experts' all seem to harp on that a Smart has to have Mobil 1 in it or it'll die. :-?
If i had some numbers to compare them to Mobil 1's

Wonder if they have to specify coz of F1 sponsorhip deals.

Assuming a 5w30 oil is acceptable it should be fine, Mobil 1 is silly money.

believe bmw charge even more than vx do retail, just add Bmw packaging, makes all the differance.
