Ronnie Project 13 - the final episode
« on: 28 August 2006, 23:43:08 »

OK. I know I said I wouldn't do anymore, but when you see what I have acquired you will see why I just couldn't resist.

Full details to follow later in the week once it arrives, but for now I will just say it is a 2000 facelift. By my estimates it will need some work including a possible new engine. But taking into account how much I have paid for it, I cannot lose.

Details and pics on Friday.

Judging from how you describe it. May I hazard a guess that the cost was… nada?

In fact I propose a bet – open to all members – the closest wins! That is, if Ronnie doesn’t mind.

I don't mind. It has cost me quite a lot actually. But hey, it is a 2000 facelift model in pretty nice condition cosmetiaclly. just mechanical issue(s), none of which is beyond me of course.

This one is, however the last one. I intend to keep it if it is a good as I hope. The wife can have it as a little pressie from me.

Interestingly, 'Yes - no more Omegas for Ronnie, ever!' is the only option that got ZERO votes so far...  ;D

My black project (Dads) car is almost done booked in for the weekend for its MOT, just got to get the exhaust replacement centre box fitted when it comes and then it will be up for sale provided all goes well with the MOT.

I doubt I will get another or if I do I shall be going for something with less needing doing to it.
