I am at an age now that i do not want the latest 'fandando' vwheels or 'blaster' exhaust on my car. I am looking at getting and giving sound advice on problems and helping others sort theirs out.  :-[

But i do realise that there are others here and elsewhere who have hankerings for 'doing up' their motor. I have read the posts by the admin and can see some of the relative pitfalls we could encounter by going the route of perhaps 'the site that will remain nameless'.

We should embody change when needed and agree that a debate on this could be carried out. This site is by far the best around for help on Omegas and the experience of the posters.

Personally not keen, as it's such a diverse area, it's more a case of "personal choice" than "how to"

I've got no objections to a section dedicated to it though, if there's enough interest...

2nd, 3rd and 4th that  :y. To say it's comprehensive and informative is an unbelievable understatement - tis by far, better than any forum I've experienced!!. The only reason for the suggestion was maybe to add a small subsection for maybe the minority who are exploring the avenue of wanting to modify their Meegas. I want to be able to tinker with the power plant leaving the car looking original from the outside - not into LED's etc - think I'd be thrown in the spare room if I started doing things like that. But each person to their own - I actually admire people who change the appearance of their cars (tastefully!!! ;)) it shows they care. Would rather live next door to someone like that than someone who lets their car fall to pieces  - shows a bit of order in their lives. Plus they would probably be able to give me a hand upgrading mine :D

As said in the other thread, with the current software, we cannot have nested sub-boards, so it would have to be an extra board.

Personally, I think we already have enough/too many boards, but what do others think?

TBH I think some of the how tos ect should be split off the forum and into web pages attached to the forum.

14 at the moment

Do we need Tech Info and FAQ? - could they merge?

Same with suggestions and problems.

I would go with a modification board, I would use it myself - remember that mods would include.

Engine tuning, swapping gearboxes, LPG, body kits, but would it affect general help?

I was just about to suggest this, seems a pretty good to me :y

I was thinking the Tech Info section could become the mods section.

here here - the guys that run the forum are doing a monumental job. From where we were last year (vxon) to now is an achievement in its own.

So the Captain and crew are more than capable of steering the ship in which ever way they need to make improvments  :y

Well at the end of the day its how the mods want it, it works for me.

If the MODS feel its fine as it is then this thread is pointless.

No, I disagree. Nothing is ever perfect, and everything can be improved. Ideas and suggestions are always welcome.

I for one think it needs some rejigging...
