« on: 12 May 2010, 10:27:49 »

Hoofing it has posted a very good "how to" on cleaning diesel injectors. my problem is plucking up the courage to tackle the job myself, and if i did would i need a 27mm socket with the sensor lead void. i have the other tools necessary i think   :-/ :y

go on you know you want to ;D :y
try num-1 first.
they come out easier when the engine is hot.
you can get away with a deep 27mm socket the one shown is mainly for num-4.
its also easier to undo all the fuel pipes at the same time and push them under the manifold out of the way.
o forgot to say you will need 2 long flat screwdrivers to unplug num4.
a breaker bar is a must.
good luck Ray
