i have been reading about all the power sounder faults. Should i disconect mines on my 2.5 v6 t reg?

A lot of people do diconnect them, if I had one I personally would.

Depends how much you value your insurance! You will be removing a part of the 'Factory fitted alarm and immobiliser' system as stated on your insurance. If you are unsure then get a new one from Vx. At least you can be safe in the knowledge that your insurance company won't refuse to pay up when your car is stolen because you removed part of the original alarm system.

if my car was nicked, would the insurance company manage to prove it was me? ... then again i am with the rac lol
