LPG Ecu - done it!
« on: 06 June 2010, 15:08:25 »

Well - it was a fiddle, and was like a bit of a rubix cube.... but I have the LPG Ecu nicely mounted alongisde the petrol one, in the main ECU box  :y

There is then a very handy place to cut out at the rear of the box, to run the loom out, to the LPG components/connections.

Is looking to be a tidy install, so far  :y

Thank you my dear..

Is now raining, and thundering, and I have given up trying to make electrical connections, for the moment!!

I will be doing a gallery of pictures, don't worry :y

Jobs to do, include -

Wiring to both gas solenoids

Wiring to Vaporisor temp sensor (this will need extending, due to being so far away from ECU box

Connect liquid gas line to shut off valve (I was 1 connection short)

Fit manifold (cheers Kevin  ::) ), run nozzle pipes up. Fit injector wiring, and get plenum on. All nice and tidy.

Other bits of wiring to hook up, EG switch inside the car, so on... running cables through bulkhead...

Calibration....

Is still loads to do - but, definately feel progress has been made  :y

Also need to find somewhere to mount both injector rails, and finish vapour hose plumbing - oh - and drill the injectors as well...

Is never ending!

Have had a hold up in as much as, unfortunately, I split the casting on my inlet manifold, having come out just very slightly too close to a petrol injector, with a gas nozzle.

Thankfully our wonderful Mr Wood has a spare, that I can use & replace  :y
