Hello all,

Looking for a cheap v6 for a stag do trip stonehenge to John o'Groats on the May bank holiday so an MOT till June and some tax would be nice. Have no real in interest about the condition just as long as its mechanically ok for 1500 miles!!! let us know if you have one ideally in the wiltshire area but prepared to travel, cash waiting.

The task is to get a £300ish motor to John o'groats and back in 4 days..... so we have decided on one of these ideally in white/silver so we can dress it up as a police car.....??!!

Damn it..... they're on to us already....!!!!
We weren't going to dress it up exactly like a real police car, just our interepretation of one!! Whats the 6 months for then, actually pulling people over or just wearing the hats?
Maybe just some writing down the side and some hazard tape on the back maybe??? What could we get away with?

i doubt you would get away with any of it to be honest.

best bet is a blue and green stripe and writing POLITZIA or something on the side, but i would check it out first!

well this one's "Impersonating a police car"  (they impound the car for 6 months and make all the accomplices walk home.  :-/

Oh well, we know its not illegal to write things on your car so it'll be less offensive as possible. If we do find one then I'll put some pictures up of what we have done. We are thinking of getting a PA/megaphone system from ebay (which includes 5 animal noises!) and some strobes for the grill..... We are just doing it for a laugh so if there are any other suggestions, fire away...!

2, Starskie and Hutch
3, A german fire Service car needs Feuerwehr on the sides.

or a green and white mig as polizie they also have silver with a thick blue stripe down the side for the autobahn.

Dukes Of Hazzard out of that lot, would go Smokey and the Bandit myself......all black with gold pinstripe detail and the golden eagle on the bonnet, plus big CB aerials.......
