Mechanically, money no object until head gasket went. That was the last straw for him. Not sure about the mileage but it is very high approx 180k
PM me and make him an offer, its not my car but for £200+ he may not scrap it

Would have it for 200 but getting it back would cost me at least the same then getting the head sorted a few more, so not economically viable I would say :-/

Is HG confirmed with pressure test? Could just be HBV!

DOesn't sound like HG to me

If all that's wrong is fluid loss then it's not hg, just a water leak. Would expect pre cat code as well, meaning emissions light on dash?

He has had it tested and was told that it was the HG. The car is taxed and tested up to November. I will post some pictures later, its been stood outside his pub for the last 2 months!

So what other symptoms, other than coolant loss?
