I was watching this and was going to bid in the last minute - until someone knocked on the door and I missed it :(

It was advertised as brand new - never been fitted so if anyone has one sitting in the garage doing nothing please get in touch :y

these do look great, and i loved having mine on my elite, my brother thought i was absolutely crazy to buy mine because it was so dear, even though it was brand new, i got mine for £80 :y

they are still very sought after and very rare, so they do fetch a wedge!

I personally think the chap paid way too much for this particular grill, as there are good quality cheaper copies of the Irmscher grill.  And I really don't see the point of buying something just because it's got a particular 'company badge', you're just buying a name really ?!.

I got mine from off ebay for £35 +£7p&P. And it's very good fit, and quality, so I'm happy.

Think the rudi chap was selling quite a few of these some time ago, and around that time I did notice that the price was £35, then was bumped up by £10 after a few days !!.

In all honesty, suppose it depends on what you want at the end of the day, and how badly you want it, and that's when you're wiilling to spend that little extra for something ?.  :D

I agree with that - but I also like to be different, hence my grille! :y

Thanks to all of you for your kind words as the grill was in the post this morning and is now on the front of the Ex-plod 3.2. At that price was still less than the main dealer 8-)

Availability from Irmscher now nil. So if you could get hold of a new one how much would it be ? and yes it was still in the box and had never been fitted. I was offered a secondhand one for over £100 two weeks ago. Life is to short so live it.

Sorry to bring this up again :)

I logged into ebay a few days ago and there just listed was a genuine Irmy Grille with the Chrome surround - Buy it now £50, no pic just a library photo but I took a chance and bought it, It arrived and its a genuine article grille as described in A1 Condition and even in the original Irmy box with instructions!!

It just shows that right place right time !!   :y
