Just having a think about the cars and trying to save a bit of money ive got a 2.6 silver auto cdx with 80k on the clock pretty good condition it has a few scratches but ill get them sorted and the misses has a little fiesta thinking about getting rid of both of them and getting a zafira or something similar and getting myself back onto a bike. So i need a rough estimate on the omega just to work out the money. Also if any one can recommend a people carrier. rik

I ran a 2004 Mazda Premacy 2.0GSi last year without a single fault in 20k miles.  5 seat GSis are cheaper than Zafiras, but if you need a 7 seater to compare to Zafira, the GSE 7 seater is similar in price, but generally more reliable than the Zafira.
You get a decent boot in the 5 seater, though.
Petrols regarded as better than diesels in this car, as nice chain driven petrol and ancient wheezy rattly diesel.  35++ mpg in 2.0 petrol.

I would have another, was very pleased with it and sold it for a good profit (cost £2000 ebay, sold £2400 locally +20k miles) after giving it a good valet

what age and reg would help 

also cloth,leather,saloon or estate ??

sorry forgot to put that its a 2001 51 plate cloth seat , saloon i only need a ball park guess just to work it out.

in a deal with a dealer you could get lucky if the dealers car is over priced or they want shut but i reckon in a auction your cars worth 700 quid. shocking i know 

you could try selling private and get more though,i find though if they have wounds on the bumpers and dings in the doors or rust spots and the rear arches going they won't sell.
