Personally I quite like the tinted look. I'm sure having that over your lights though would just be another excuse for an insurance company to try and wriggle out of a claim, even if you did inform them.

Interesting, HID lights lose a lot of their brightness when the lenses are dirty. So these people sell a film that in effect dirtys the lens permanently. Brilliantly thought out. ;D

I think its funny how the car design world has utilised technology to make lenses clear for both practical reasons (better forward lighting) and aesthetic purposes, just so people can cover them up with stupid cheap vinyl which wont last 5 minutes with the heat HID's emit.... and probably only a few minutes longer with Halogens.

Crap idea, crap look..... just no.

But that's only my opinion.

I know I started the thread, but I can assure you I was not thinking of getting them.

I just came across this link in another Forum and was seeing what people thought of them or even knew about them ;-)

At least you now know they are available if you wanted something like that :-)
