MPG gone right up after servicing!
« on: 17 July 2010, 23:06:11 »

Hello! Just serviced my 2000 3.0 Elite saloon. Wish bones, drop links, tie rods/track rods, front discs/pads/wear sensors, recon ABS ECU, oil, pas fluid, coolant, filters and plugs, oh and glove box handle and fixed passengers door! Anyway, since the service my town driving mpg has gone up from 19.7 to 21.7! That's massive! A smidge over 10%! It seems faster and more responsive, so I wonder what it's going to be like when I do the drivers side manifold gasket leak! Omegas rule!

How much MPG do you reckon was lost with the faulty glove box.  ::)

My appologies - could'nt resist.  Sounds like the parts used will recover thier cost's nicely.  :y :y :y

Depends whether its locked or not, and if you keep the Redex Injector treatment in there!
