2.2 auto box fluid filter
« on: 18 July 2010, 15:25:54 »

Hi guys and others  ::)

gonna build up to the job of changing the auto box fluid, I've priced the gaskets (around £20.00)and the filter is around £70.00.
I read from one of the topics that the filter can be cleaned.
question.. how effective is the filter after cleaning and what would I clean it with and what are the benefits apart from the dosh.    :-/ :-/

I cleaned mine with parrafin last week, got tons of crap out of it and it was clean as a whistle when put back.  Box is loads better since so can't see a problem.

p.s, used instant gasket as well, again no problems :y
