How do you open the boot???
« on: 17 July 2010, 20:33:23 »

Went to look at some Omega's today, only one a possibility so I had a good look around with an air of 'I know what I am looking at' type of approach, never looked in the boot, did not know how to open it.. :-[ :-[ :-[  All ours have been estates.... ::)

If facelift, bottom right button of the dash is to open the boot, or the bottom button on the keyfob. Earlier facelifts you can't open the boot with the key in the ignition. Later facelifts you can, but to operate the switch you have to hold it in for approx 3 to 5 seconds.

I assume you mean the facelifts.
Press the button on the dash or the third button on the key.

My missus always ends up with loads of scratches on the outside by the door handles. It's those bleedin rings she wears.

And when the battery is flat, there's a manual pull in the roof of the lid.  (After you've emptied the boot contents, provided they fit through the back seat!!!)
