Traffic cop spotted my bald tyres!`

Been spending so much time under the bonnet since I got the mega hadnt looked at the tyres, and yes I know, should have been one of the first things I looked at.
So the traffic cop looks me car up and down, asks me the usall questions then points out I have 2 bald tyres on the frount of the car!, and i mean BALD :o
'Now Im for it', me thinks, 3 points per tyre aint it?

Fortuantly for me he is a mate of mine and had just walked past the car on his way to my frount door for a cuppa! :)
But he did have a very good point which was, how can the 11 months MOT on the car be 100%! Surely if it had bald tyres it would have been a failure!  WHich does ask the question, did the previous owner procure the MOT instead of putting the car through an MOT, if you see what I mean! A worrying thought as its our family car!

So has anyone got any tyres they can chuck my way for £1.27 and a pack of Jaffa cakes? ;D

I have an original unused spare thats no good to me, (due to the low profiles I now have) so at that price I will throw in the jaffa cakes for free :y

Very odd indeed, unless he had a good set on for the MOT and changed them back after ::)

Didnt think of that, makes sense I guess, there realy are some idiots about! But in saying that I should have looked at the tyres before owt else ::)

Didnt think of that, makes sense I guess, there realy are some idiots about! But in saying that I should have looked at the tyres before owt else ::)

He was obvioulsy distracting you with all the better bits of the car ::)....seen that Ad on the TV  ;D ;D ;D

The Size you showed 205/65 R15 are the same size of most omega spares get yourself down to your local scrapper and get new spare tires out of them. Dont forget you will be doing them a favor as they have to pay to get rid of them so dont let them take the P**S and charge over the odds
