Self levelling shock absorbers
« on: 30 July 2010, 00:34:07 »

Hi, noticed today there is red fluid coming from one of the rear shockers on my estate. when the car goes for mot soon, i think theyll fail this.
On buypartsby, i cant see a levelling one listed. How much from vaux? i have a trade card with migweb.
If theyre too expensive can i replace with the standard ones on buypartsby with no side effects?
Or does anyone have some good self levelling ones for sale?
cheers

hi there, replaced mine earlier this year with vaux ones. they set me back £90+vat from my local dealer. might be able to replace with non self levelling ones, but will need to disconnect the compressor behind the front bumper too. :y
p.s. mine are heavy duty plod ones.

It'd be a lot easier to just pull its fuse.  :y  :y
