But you've done loads. As with all things, you get quicker with experience, you don't have to think what to do next or how this does that or how that does this.
I'd suggest a morning or afternoon if you've never done one before.

Deffo worth getting the cambelt video 1st.

My mate has his own idea's about doing quad cam belts, then I showed him the DVD I bought from the shop,  he suddenly agreed his way was a nono, and said the DVD was excellent and pretty straight foreward.

Realistically I would say 3 to 4 hours by the time you've checked and double checked, just take your time ;)

Rushing is watching Master do it (with pump) in under an hour :o.  I did one myself in under an hour a few weeks ago, but no pump on that one.  I've also spent 4hrs doing one that just wasn't playing.

If there is a brew and a bacon butty on hand, that adds 30mins ;D ;D ;D

Now, v6 thermostats, they take me hours - I was in awe when I saw you do one, and hopefully I paid enough attention, as that 3.2 needs a new one  :'(

But if you change the Water Pump, you then need to put in the Coolant, then also run up the car to temperature getting the airlocks out  ;D ;D ;D much longer than 90mins  :P :P :P

I will help you again mate when I see you that isn't a problem. Do you have the Thermostat & Transfer Pipe??

I need to buy another stat (gave away the one we fitted to Goldie).

Worth buying a transfer pipe, or reckon I can manage not to bugger it up :o
